August 4 - BP FAST TRACK CLAIM PRESS RELEASE

July 29 - City of Gulf Shores beaches return to SINGLE RED Flag conditions. The City of Gulf Shores has changed the beach flags to a single red flag effective immediately, changing from double red flags. The flag system is used to inform beach goers of surf conditions, and the level of hazards present. As a reminder, the posting of a double red flag indicates that the City has closed the water to entry under Gulf Shores City Ordinance 1155. The single red flag posting indicates hazards, but does not close the waters. A swim advisory remains in effect from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
