Chamber News: How Giving to the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation Helps the Community

Posted January 30, 2017

You know about the butterfly effect – how a tiny movement of delicate wings on the other side of the world can change the course of the universe forever. It explains that every action we take has an impact on our personal life, our business life, our families and communities, and the world, whether we realize it or not.

But wouldn’t you also like to be part of a purposeful butterfly effect? You can, easily, by helping the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation.

The mission of the foundation is to enhance lives through programs and partnerships that enrich education, develop leadership, and better our community. Its goal is for all South Baldwin students to graduate and succeed.

So how can you help our community? By supporting the Chamber Foundation programs.

But what exactly does that entail? How do you help today’s students gain knowledge, experience, perspective and confidence?

It’s simple: Give. Volunteer your time at schools or by helping organize fundraising events. Use your talents behind the scenes or publicly. Share your resources in the form of cash, materials or in-kind donations. It’s wide open. Just do something - anything - to invest in the future of our precious children who will be our next business and community leaders.
