    The Human Resources Associate reports directly to the Human Resources Senior Manager. The position is responsible for assisting in the development of strategic hiring, recruitment plans and assisting with onboarding of staff. This position will support additional Human Resources responsibilities to include (but not limited to) job fairs, new hire orientations and uniform operations.

    • Create job postings and actively source resumes for positions through internet and other targeted sourcing strategies. Use cold calling, networking and referrals to promote a robust candidate pool
    • Ensuring that all incoming phone calls are handled in a prompt and courteous manner
    • Utilize applicant tracking system to track, report, and measure status of each open position
    • Assist with new hire orientations as needed and ensures compliance including E-verify for I-9 compliance, drug screening applicants, and background checks
    • Manage uniform services, including (but not limited to) orders and inventory in compliance with company rules and inventory control
    • Responsible for overseeing counting, sorting of incoming and outgoing laundry of uniforms
    • Assists with the employee disciplinary action notices, if required
    • Assist with the coordination of employee events as needed
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred) OR Four (4) years of human resources, recruiting, and/or payroll experience supporting multiple departments
    • Proficient computer skills to maintain databases, run reports, design and perform other HRIS computer operations; thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suite
    • Must be professional, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude
    • Previous experience with Microsoft Great Plains preferred
    • Must be able to get along well with all levels of the organization and excel in a team-oriented environment
    • Must possess a valid state driver’s license
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Able to work in sunny, hot, humid, cold and rainy conditions
    • Must be willing and able to work in a smoke, tobacco and drug free workplace
