King & King, Attorneys at Law is hiring the right person for a position on our support staff.
Initially, the right candidate will handle incoming calls for both our Alabama and Tennessee offices, schedule new consultations and complete intake forms, direct callers to the appropriate person, monitor incoming intake forms from our website to schedule appointments for potential clients, accept and process consultation fees for clients, and perform conflict checks. This position will also involve scanning legal documents and typing which will include, but not be limited to, drafting letters, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Candidates should enjoy working with people and have the ability to understand and respond to the needs of clients and potential clients. Candidates should enjoy a very fast-paced environment, work well independently, have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Given the call volume, being detail-oriented and efficient is critical to job performance.
Have some experience intake or call handling.
Proficient in Outlook 365, Microsoft Word, and embrace technology
Other requirements include the following:
– Conveys confidence on the phone;
– Sets the tone and the pace of the client phone call;
– Shows empathy and compassion to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time;
– Treats a call at 4:30pm with the same care and compassion as one at 10 am;
– Demonstrates exceptional communication skills;
– Proficient in typing;
– Strong multitasking skills
