Compass Media, a 35-year-old marketing firm, is seeking a full-time leader for our print production team.  This immediate hire position will report to our office in Orange Beach, Alabama on a hybrid work schedule.

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the production team and the project management of multiple custom publications and magazine inserts.  This position has accountability to either the outside or internal client to determine the scope of work, the message to be conveyed, the budget, the schedule, all communications and delivery of the piece.  The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, time management, client service and team management skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee all production across multiple products

• Manage production team, including scheduling, coaching and evaluating performance

• Monitor and adhere to production budgets

• Collaborate with the creative teams to ensure that the production meets the client’s vision

• Create and maintain production schedules

• Monitor production quality and ensure that all requirements are met

• Resolve any production related issues in a timely and professional manner

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications preferred

• Minimum 5+ years of print production experience required

• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

• Able to manage multiple projects efficiently
