FOLEY -- Effective May 3, 2019, Sherry Sullivan has resigned from the position as Executive Director of Foley Main Street.
Sullivan has been with Foley Main Street since January and a lot has been accomplished in that short period of time. Foley Main Street has been introduced to the Foley business community; communication tools and policies have been established; business and consumer surveys were conducted and Foley Main Street hosted its first event. The Foley Main Street Board of Directors will begin the process to hire another Executive Director in the next several weeks. Until they are hired, Barbara Ingram will be the Foley Main Street contact. She can be reached at 251.978.8572.
Sullivan said, "I have enjoyed working for Foley Main Street. I appreciate the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce sharing office space with me and the support of Chad Watkins, the Foley Main Street Board of Directors, Mayor Koniar, the Foley City Council and the downtown business community. I wish Foley Main Street much success and cannot wait to see the transformation of downtown Foley."
Results of the Foley Main Street business and consumer survey will still be presented on Friday, June 7 at 8 a.m. at the Foley Civic Center. The public is invited to attend.
