Robertsdale, AL – September 10, 2024 – In a celebration of business growth and community partnership, the South Baldwin, Central Baldwin, and Eastern Shore Chambers of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony today for Gruenloh Matz & Associates, P.C. and Hardy Doege & Associates, P.C. The event celebrated the successful transition of Gruenloh Hardy & Associates into two distinct entities that will continue providing specialized accounting services.

As of August 1, 2024, Gruenloh Hardy & Associates formally transitioned into two firms: Gruenloh Matz & Associates, P.C., and Hardy Doege & Associates, P.C. This strategic move reflects the firm’s commitment to providing exceptional service while accommodating the evolving needs of their clients.

Wayne Gruenloh, CPA, LUTCF, co-founder of both firms, shared his insights on the transition. “Our profession is constantly changing, and many firms are opting out of Assurance Services due to increased liability and education requirements. With our strong history in this area, we made the decision to create a separate firm, Gruenloh Matz & Associates, P.C., which will specialize in Assurance Services.” Gruenloh will lead the new firm alongside Collena Matz, CPA, MBA, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality services in areas such as Assurance Services, Business Taxation, and Management Consulting.

Gruenloh Matz & Associates, now located in Suite D of their Robertsdale office building, offers clients specialized assurance services from a team dedicated to auditing and nonprofit clients. The firm’s restructuring also provides the auditing staff with opportunities for professional growth and upward mobility.

Hardy Doege & Associates, P.C., will continue offering comprehensive tax and accounting services under the leadership of CPA partners Jamie Hardy, Angie Doege, and Wayne Gruenloh. The firm remains dedicated to serving clients from its Robertsdale offices in Suites C & F, offering the same reliable services clients have come to expect.
