“The diplomat program became more than I ever thought it would be. I left a company to start my own business, which also meant I had left my work family. At times, it seemed I was alone in my new workplace. Man, did that change once I got involved with the South Baldwin Chamber. It wasn't 'I have to go to this ribbon cutting' or 'I have to attend this event to grow my brand'. It's 'I get to be involved in something much bigger than myself' – and that's serving – serving the way our local chambers serve our community. When we give, we get so much back in return. This Chamber gives its heart. This Chamber has become family to me. All the way from meeting Travis for the first time, to being on a hug basis with every one of them when I see them. Its a great place to start with your business, and you might just be surprised by all that comes with this program.
