Testimonials from our Diplomats
"The diplomat program became more than I ever thought it would be. I left a company to start my own business which also meant I had left my work family. At times it seemed I was alone in my new work place. Man did that change once I got involved with the South Baldwin Chamber. It wasn't 'I have to go to this ribbon cutting' or 'I have to attend this event to grow my brand'. It's 'I get to be involved in something much bigger than myself' – and that's serving – serving the way our local chambers serve our community. When we give we get so much back in return. This Chamber gives its heart. This Chamber has become family to me. All the way from meeting Travis for the first time, to being on a hug basis with everyone one of them when I see them. Its a great place to start with your business, and you might just be surprised by all that comes with this program. I will and am forever grateful for what this program has done for me business-wise and professionally. It's given me a genuine wholesome fulfillment by being involved in the SBCC Diplomat Program."

"I have enjoyed my time with the Chamber Diplomats and appreciate the relationships that it has cultivated over the past 3 years. For an introvert like myself, it was a chance to get out of my comfort zone and grow key networking skills to further my professional career. I definitely got more out of this experience than I thought going into it. Thank you for the opportunity."
– Gus Hines, Riviera Utilities
"I have learned so much to better myself in my career over the past three years and have built relationships with new friends from the Chamber that will last a lifetime."
– Kaylyn Hildreth, A & R Hospitality Group
"I joined the Chamber Diplomats in order to serve, but also to make connections since I was new to the area. Serving as a volunteer at Chamber meetings and other events helped me meet many, many members and guests. Plus, I got to know the other Diplomats as businesspeople and as friends, as well as our great Chamber staff! You can't go wrong becoming a Diplomat with the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce."
– J.R. Renkenberger, Shoot My Listings
“Being a diplomat puts you right in the middle of everything, events, people, places, people, activities and did I mention PEOPLE. You will quickly put together contacts and their faces as you serve in this program. It was so much fun to be in those activities and what a strong bond I have with those other diplomats. Consider yourself in the right place at the right time when you’re a diplomat!"
