    This year marks the 75th Annual Gala for the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce presented by Caldwell, Wenzel & Asthana P.C. During the Gala we celebrate our accomplishments with awards for Small Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Diplomat of the Year. The Annual Gala has an average attendance of 275 people which includes elected officials, members of the Chamber and our Board of Directors.

This networking event is a fun, fast-paced opportunity to gain new professional contacts and grow your network. Each attendee will have one minute per rotation to highlight new products, specials, or services their business provides.     The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will keep you informed and infuse your mind with timely subjects from knowledgeable speakers. These programs offer great opportunities to network with other business professionals face to face and help keep your business "in the know". Past speakers have included: Alabama Governor - Kay Ivy, Congressman Bradley Byrne, Business Council of Alabama's CEO - William Canary, City of Foley's Mayor - John Koniar among others.

    For more than forty years the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce has celebrated the spirit of the Free Enterprise system. The Walton M. Vines Free Enterprise Person of the Year is one of South Baldwin’s most coveted awards. Nominees must still be active in business affairs, have a good moral reputation, be active in civic/community affairs and be committed to helping others grow. The winner will be honored during the Free Enterprise Person of the Year Luncheon on September 20th at the Foley Civic Center. The event is attended by more than one hundred of the area’s top business leaders and community members. The Luncheon features a full catered meal and speeches from last year's winner along with the newly honored Person of the Year.
