I hope this message finds you and your business healthy in this 2023 year. In cooperation with the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, I am reaching out to assist your business to navigate the complexities of a program called the Employee Retention Credit (ERC). The ERC program is a government sponsored stimulus program that was designed to help businesses retain employees during the Covid 19 Pandemic. I am reaching out as I believe your business can also benefit from the ERC program. Since October 2022, my mission has been to educate businesses about the ERC program.

The ERC was originally established by the CARES ACT in 2020, but underwent significant positive revisions in 2021. The ERC is a refundable tax credit in the form of a refund check - not a loan - that your business can claim. The program is based on qualified wages and healthcare costs paid for W2 employees.
