The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and Coastal Alabama Business Chamber joined to celebrate the new office of local Edward Jones financial advisors Bob McDowell and Dec McClelland!

The new building, located in the heart of Gulf Shores, houses both Bob McDowell, Dec McClelland, and their staffs. A Fortune 500 company, Edward Jones is an investment firm that serves over 8 million clients across North America. The privately owned business provides clients with consultative, individualized, relationship-based approaches to addressing financial needs.

With 30 years of military service in the Special Operations Forces as an Army Green Beret, financial advisor Bob McDowell strives to "add value to others by leading [his] clients through one of the most important aspects of their lives, their finances." He attributes his desire and ability to serve to his "teamwork mentality, positive outlook, and critical thinking skills" to aid his commitment to educate and inform his clients. Bob McDowell also sits on both the South Baldwin Chamber and Coastal Alabama Business Chamber Board of Directors.

A former sportscaster, financial advisor Dec McClelland attributes the importance of numbers to understand how to stay on track for someone's financial goals. He strives to "mentor and coach [his] clients through life-changing events" and guides them in making "confident investment decisions." McClelland is passionate about supporting his beach community, as he serves as a board member for the Gulf Coast Athletic Club and actively volunteers with the Gulf Shores Lions Club.
