The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce cut a ribbon with the new location of Coastal Medical Group! Situated along Highway 98 in Foley, this new location joins the Gulf Shores practice as the only two Infirmary Health primary care locations in southern Baldwin County.

Infirmary Health details primary care medicine as the "provision of basic healthcare to patients... to provide immediate and basic diagnostic and treatment services as well as to refer patients to specialists if necessary." Touted as the largest non-governmental, non-profit healthcare system in the state of Alabama, Infirmary Health provides a "continuum of care [including] wellness programs, inpatient and outpatient services, and rehabilitation. The new location in Foley is one of the 60 physician practice locations, along with Infirmary Health's four hospitals, three surgical centers, and three post-acute care facilities.

Doctors Wes Cowan and Sandra Alexandra lead the team at the Foley location, along with a team of skilled nurses and assistants.
