South Baldwin Chamber cuts ribbon with Shorty's Safe Haven

Despite the chilly and gray weather, members of the South Baldwin Chamber, diplomats, and friends happily gathered to celebrate Shorty's Safe Haven, one of our newest chamber members!

The non-profit, located near Magnolia Springs, provides equine-assisted therapy to Baldwin County's at-risk youth at no cost to the families. As a 501-c3, Shorty's Safe Haven depends on fundraising dollars to feed and maintain the horses and provide its services to the program's families.

Mark your calendar for Shorty's Spring Festival on Saturday, March 23! This event will include local vendors, pony rides, children's activities, food trucks, hay rides, photos with the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts, and a silent auction. Admission is free.

Shorty's Safe Haven also offers horse riding lessons for all children ages 5-18.
